MUMBAI: Warner Bros. Pictures is bringing The Dark Knight back for a return engagement in IMAX and theatres on 23 January, 2009. The film will re-open in the US.
Warner Bros. Pictures president of Domestic Distribution Dan Fellman said, "The Dark Knight is a crowning achievement in every sense of the word. We wanted to provide one more opportunity for moviegoers to experience it on the big screen as it was meant to be seen."
The movie which released worldwide in July 2008 has been directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gary Oldman amongst others.
