Warner Music France buys tour production co.

MUMBAI: Warner Music France announced the acquisition of Jean-Claude Camus Productions, France‘s leading tour production, promotion and booking company. This agreement brings together Camus Productions’ unrivalled experience in staging live events with Warner Music’s world-class roster of local and international artists.


 


The partnership will extend the range of services available to acts signed to Warner Music France as well as those represented by Camus Productions, reinforcing the company’s ability to support a wide range of artists across all areas of their career.


 


Since 1957, Jean-Claude Camus, an icon of French artistic production, has produced and promoted numerous French-speaking artists such as Sheila, Johnny Hallyday, Patrick Bruel, Michel Sardou, Anggun, Roland Magdane, Florent Pagny, Alain Bashung, Lara Fabian, Chimène Badi, Michel Fugain, Jean-Michel Jarre and Mimie Mathy.


 


He has staged concerts in France for many International artists, such as Bob Marley, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Police, Frank Zappa, Prince, Toto and the Rolling Stones as well as Musicals such as Starmania. Since 2005, many artists have joined the Camus stable including Christophe Maé, Christophe Wilhelm, and Emmanuel Moire. Forthcoming events from Camus Productions include a Johnny Hallyday tour in 2009 and the new musical show Cleopatra from Kamel Ouali.
