MUMBAI: Georgia Theatre Company has selected Dolby 3D Digital Cinema as its 3D system of choice, bringing premium 3D presentations to select theatres in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia.
The company has installed Dolby 3D Digital Cinema in 17 theatre locations and has plans to increase its screen count over the next 12-18 months in selected locations throughout its circuit.
“We have been extremely impressed with the Dolby 3D Digital Cinema system since beginning our digital cinema and 3D testing a few years ago. Not only does the Dolby 3D system provide excellent picture clarity and incredible color quality it also doesn’t require a silver screen, providing our patrons with a great viewing experience from every seat in the house,” said Georgia Theatre Company president Aubrey Stone.
Dolby 3D Digital Cinema uses a unique color filtering technology to provide realistic color reproduction and sharp images.
