Reportedly, the legendary Pop icon was found dead at his Paisley Park recording studio compound on Thursday morning. Deputies and medical authorities found the music icon unresponsive when they arrived at his home. Reports suggest that Prince was earlier hospitalized a week after his plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Moline. He was discharged from the hospital soon few hours later but had been battling with flu since several weeks.
As news of Prince’ death was out, hundreds of people gathered outside Paisley Park compound and left balloons, signs in tribute to the singer. Many of the TV shows were cancelled and went on to broadcast back-to-back Prince’ music videos. Even President Obama tweeted and released a statement over superstar’s unfortunate death.

Prince was known for mega hits like “When Doves Cry”, Wanna Be Your Lover“, “Kiss”, “Tonight I’m gonna party like it’s 1999” and “Purple Rain”.
