On Monday morning, the death rituals of famous actor Shiv Subramaniam were performed at Mokshdham Hindu Shamshanbhoomi in Andheri, Mumbai.
Shiv Kumar Subramaniam lost his only son, Jahaan, to a brain tumour two months ago, only two weeks before his 16th birthday. On Sunday night, the actor known for his roles in films like 2 States, Kaminey, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Parinda, and Teen Patti, among others, ascended to heaven.
Subrahmanyam wrote the screenplay for the 1989 film Parinda and Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. He has garnered many fans for his performance as Alia Bhatt’s father in Two States. The outstanding actor was most recently seen in Meenakshi Sundareshwar, where he played Sanya Malhotra’s onscreen grandfather.
As of now, no one has revealed the cause of his death, although it appears that the late actor died of natural causes. However, this is merely speculation, and the official report on his demise has yet to be released. The tributes are flowing in as the industry as a whole is in shock and mourning.
