Aamir’s brother Hyder debuts with Sirf…

MUMBAI: Aamir Khan’s brother Hyder Khan has finally got a foothold in films. He has completed shooting for his debut film Sirf… Love By Chance. Hyder was earlier also supposed to feature in Dastaan–E–Tarannum.

Hyder says, “I’m happy to have completed the shooting of my first film Sirf… Love By Chance. It is a romantic film and we have shot the entire film in Malaysia. I was to play the lead in Dastaan–E–Tarannum, but finally opted out from it. Sirf… will now be my debut film.”

Sirf… Love By Chance had to undergo rough weather when it came to finalising the film’s leading lady.  Actor-turned-director Raja Bundela who will be directing the film confesses, “We had first cast Megha Chatteree, daughter of Moushmi Chatterjee. She cited date problems because of her commitment with Dilip Shukla. Then we signed Zubeida, who told us she is Farooque Abdulla’s niece, which turned out to be a lie. Finally, we have zeroed in on a good actress, Sada, who’s from the South.”

Budgeted at around Rs 20 million (Rs 2 crore), Sirf… also stars Zeenat Aman and Raj Babbar. Anand Raaj Anand has provided the musical score. It is produced by Delhi based builder-turned-filmmaker Deepak Sharma under the banner of D.S. Production.
