Ajay Devgan helps Mugdha Godse

MUMBAI: We have heard of Ajay Devgan’s pranks but those close to him got to see the considerate side to him recently when his co-star of his home production All The Best Mugdha Godse recently met with an accident.

Godse met with an accident on the Mumbai – Pune expressway and suffered neck injury and bruises as a result of which she had to resort to using a neck collar. Due to the intense pain Godse called Ajay to inform him that she wouldn’t be able to join the film’s unit.

Devgan was also considerate enough to send over his own doctor Dr Dilip to Pune along with his cousin and executive producer Vikrant Sharma to Godse’s aid.

The actress said, "I’m extremely thankful to Ajay. This is the first time I’m working with him and I’m very touched by his gesture. I can now resume work but will have to go slow. Acupressure therapy and the neck band have eased my injury by 70%. Though Ajay and my director Rohit Shetty have told me to take my time to recuperate, I am in Goa for the shoot. Ajay and Rohit feel like family to me."

This is not the first time Devgan has gone out of the way for his co-stars and friends. Earlier Devgan had postponed a schedule of the film All the Best to give time to Fardeen Khan to recover from his personal loss.
