Asha Bhosle opens her third restaurant in UK

MUMBAI: Singer Asha Bhosle opened her third chain of restaurant, Asha’s, in London. Situated at Birmingham, it will serve Indian delicacies including traditional Indian dishes with contemporary flavors.
 
The menu at Asha’s is both extensive and exotic. It includes Mughlai, Punjabi and Maharashtrain cuisine, alongside a cornucopia of cocktails, breads and deserts. The menu also includes her late husband R. D. Burman’s favourite dishes. The menu has been handpicked by the singer. She is said to have worked on it for three months.
 
Four years ago, the first Asha’s restaurant opened in Dubai, followed by one in Kuwait. She also plans to have more outlets in Leicester, Manchester and London by the end of this year.
 
Bhosle, 73-years-old, has lent her voice to over 900-odd movies.
