MUMBAI: Balaji Motion Pictures has appointed Sunny Khanna as senior vice president – revenue. Prior to joining Balaji, Khanna was head – distribution and syndication at Mumbai Mantra (Mahindra & Mahindra’s entertainment arm).
At Mumbai Mantra, he was responsible for India theatrical, international, home video, music and satellite for Hindi and regional films. He joined Mumbai Mantra from Percept Picture Company, where he was general manager – distribution and IPR management.
The movies that are scheduled to release from the Balaji Motion Pictures stable are LSD (Love Sex Aur Dhokha), which is directed by Dibakar Banerjee) releasing on 5 March. Once Upon A Time In Mumbai starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Kangana Ranaut will also release this year along with Shor, which is directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru.
