MUMBAI: Ektaa Kapoor’s television and film production house Balaji Telefilms Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 192.967 million for the quarter ended 30 September, 2006. On the other hand, in the same period last year, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 170.162 million.
The company’s total income has increased from Rs 714.221 million for the quarter ended 30 September, 2005 to Rs 837.951 million for the quarter ended 30 September, 2006.
Balaji Telefilms has also appointed Paul Francis Aiello, nominee of Asian Broadcasting FZ LLC as the additional director in place of Star Group CEO Michelle Guthrie, who has resigned as nominee director of Asian Broadcasting FZ LLC from board of the company, both effective from 20 October, 2006.
