MUMBAI: Not even a film old, new entrant in the film production arena – Beyond Dream Entertainment already has a six film deal in the pipeline. The company, which is headed by Yash Patnaik, has inked the deal with Sri Lanka’s Film Location Services.

Beyond Dream Entertainment’s first film, Siddharta Gautam Buddha will be co-produced by Navin Goonaratne and directed by ace director Shyam Benegal. However, this film won’t be a part of the six film contract, which has been signed with Sri Lanka’s Film Location Services’ chairman Chandran Rutnam.

Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Rutnam says, “I have been associated with many Hollywood films and have always wanted to work with producers in Bollywood. Yash and I will be dealing with subjects, which have not been experimented before.”

Rutnam further adds that these will be medium budget movies, each estimated to be around Rs 20 million (Rs 2 crores).
