Mumbai: Big Home Video has recently released Universal Pictures’ The Incredible Hulk and Paramount’s Iron Man on home video in over seven regional languages, including Hindi. A van activity has been planned across 47 cities in six states viz Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand to create awareness about the movies.
Meanwhile, to cater to the premium segment, Big Home Video has tied up with Crossword to promote the release of The Incredible Hulk and with Planet M to promote Iron Man. A Hulk Zone will be created at select outlets of Crossword for on-the-spot contests and a chance to win exciting merchandise. Planet M chain of outlets, as part of a special focus on Iron Man, is organizing a consumer contest at its key stores across the country.
Exclusive branded merchandise for The Incredible Hulk such as T shirts, mouse pads, pens, diaries and key chains have been created to be distributed for various promotional campaigns. A tie up with Café Coffee Day where customers can participate in The Incredible Hulk contest and get a chance to win Hulk goodies. The Incredible Hulk’s POS (point of sale) will also be placed at select Café Coffee Day outlets. This promotion is being run across five cities in 30 outlets.
A tie up with Big FM will promote the home video of the two movies via RJ mentions and contests. Innovative promotions will be created with the online partner Zapak.com. The campaign will include above the line promotions like TV spots across GEC, movies and kids channels.
The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man DVDs are priced at Rs 599, the English VCDs are priced at Rs 299 and the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam VCDs are priced at Rs 99.
