Mumbai: David Dhawan’s film Partner is aiming to be completed by December 2006. "One fourth of my film is already finished. Our next schedule begins in September and we are looing forward to shooting in Bangkok and South Africa. We’ve shot in Mumbai only so far," the director shared.
The shooting of the film was delayed by Salman Khan’s absence thanks to the innumerable court cases against him. Dhawan had earlier planned to shoot some scenes in Canada with Salman Khan when the latter was to be performing at the Rockstars concert. But what with Salman’s various visa issues, that was not to be. David last directed Shaadi No.1 which had a Diwali release in 2005 and didn’t perform well at the box office.
