MUMBAI: Rakesh Chaudhary’s television serial Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi, currently telecast every Thursday at 9 pm on Doordarshan’s national network, will soon be made into a feature film.
Says Chaudhary, who started his TV career with a comedy serial Bante Bigadte, “The success of the serial has inspired me to make a comedy film with the same title. Ashok Patole, who wrote the script for the TV series, has commenced writing the screenplay for the film, which we plan to make on a large scale.
Chaudhary, who has earlier produced and directed serials based on serious and sensitive issues, hopes to sign some major industry names for his film.
