MUMBAI: Dhamaal directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria will be a surprise to audiences as the film has no heroines or item numbers.

The film has an all male starcast – Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chowdhury and Javed Jaffrey. All five are thrown into hilarious life threatening situations thanks to chaos and misunderstandings the five protagonists undergo. 

But will the lack of female protagonists create a disinterest among the audiences? Says Indra Kumar, “I didn’t feel a need to include heroines in the film and I believe it might snowball into a future trend.”

According to the director, the script of the film is so gripping that the audiences are going to have a treat watching the funny male bonding.
