Mubai: Actor Dilip Kumar is currently recovering from the high grade fever with which he was admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Delhi on 25 Sep.
In a mail sent by his wife Saira Banu, Banu said, ‘There is no cause for worry and it may be noted that he was not kept in the I.C.U. as misreported by a section of the media. The physicians attending on him felt the need for adequate rest while the fever was being treated and therefore admitted him in the hospital. Kumar sahab is his usual jovial self and looking forward to returning to Mumbai in time to celebrate Idd and Navratri with his friends and well wishers as usual.’
The mail further added that ‘He has conveyed his thanks to all those who have expressed their concern and wished him speedy recovery.’
It may also be noted that few weeks ago a certain section of media carried a report stating that Kumar will be returning to the silver screen in a movie to be directed by Subhash Ghai, is absolutely incorrect.
