eBay powers Tere Mere Beach Mein celebrity memorabilia auctions

MUMBAI: eBay India in association with Star Plus, has launched a charity auction of the celebrity memorabilia donated by the Bollywood star guests on Farah Khan’s new show Tere Mere Beach Mein (TMBM).

All the proceeds of the TMBM celebrity memorabilia auctions on eBay will benefit the NGO SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action).

The launch episode of TMBM had Salman Khan who donated the famous yellow towel from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, autographed by the star. The autographed yellow towel is on auction on eBay India (www.eBay.in/star) with a start price of Rs 1,001. The Salman Khan auction started on 23 August, 2009 and will be on till 30 August, 2009 at 9 am.

I am sure Bollywood fans worldwide will enjoy the experience of bidding and winning the unique personal and movie memorabilia donated by the celebrity guests as well as benefitting a good cause."

The towel on auction was used by Salman Khan during the rehearsals of the chartbuster song "Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din" from the movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi directed by David Dhawan. This song was choreographed by Farah Khan.
