Mumbai: Eros Multimedia has bought worldwide rights of Salaam E Ishq for a whopping Rs 430 million. This includes worldwide theatrical, music and video rights. It excludes India music and video rights. Eros had also acquired Omkara in a similar fashion.
Salaam E Ishq is directed by Nikhil Advani and produced by Mukesh Talreja and Sunil Manchanda. The movie has six love stories woven together. It is a star studded film with Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra as the lead pair.
The other pairs in the film will be Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla, Akshaye Khanna and Ayesha Takia, John Abraham and Vidya Balan, Govinda and Shannon Esrechowitz and Sohail Khan and Perizaad Zorabian.
The movie is due for release on 19 January, 2007.
