MUMBAI: A round table film forum was organized by the Royal Norwegian embassy in co-operation with the Norwegian Film Commission at Hilton Towers, Mumbai recently.
The forum was organized to interact with the film producers in order to exchange views on various bilateral issues such as co-productions, post production facilities and visit of Indian film delegates to Norway.
The members of the Film and Television Guild of India elucidated the existing scenario of the Indian entertainment industry and infrastructural facilities/incentives offered by various countries. The Crown Princess and a minister from Norway also participated in the discussions.
A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Whistling Woods International and Norwegian FiIm Commission for exchange and assistance in several areas of mutual concern on the occasion.
The members of the Guild who participated in the forum were Ravi Chopra (vice president), Subhash Ghai (member of Council of Management), Boney Kapoor, Vashu Bhagnani and Ravi Gupta. Supran Sen, secretary general was also invited to participate in the forum.
