HBO lines up premieres for June


Mumbai: HBO has lined up a series of premieres for the month of June. The channel will showcase 30 Hollywood blockbusters across genres every night after the 9 pm movie in Summer of 60 Nights. HBO will also showcase the premiere of a comedy super hit in Blockbuster of the Month. Also catch the line up in HBO See It First, HBO Friday Blockbusters and HBO Sunday Superhits all month only on HBO.

In HBO’s Blockbuster of the month Mr. Bean’s Holiday starring Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean will be aired on 27 June at 9 pm. On 7 June, HBO will air the action adventure Blood Diamond starring Leonardo Dicaprio, Jennifer Connelly, Djimon Hounsou and Michael Sheen followed by Adam Sandler and Liv Tyler starrer Reign Over Me on 14 June. Animation film Over the Hedge will be aired on 21 June featuring the voices of Bruce Willis and Garry Shandling. Blades of Glory starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder will air on 28 June.

HBO Sunday Super Hits at 9 pm will showcase two comedy flicks – Blankman starring Damon Wayans on 1 June and Mars Attacks starring Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close and Pierce Brosnan on 8 June.

Tom Hanks and Sally Field starrer Forrest Gump will air on 15 June followed by action adventure Zathura: A Space Adventure starring Tim Robbins on 22 June. My Best Friend’s Wedding starring Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, Rupert Everett and Dermot Mulroney will be aired on 29 June.

HBO celebrates Fathers’ Day this year with four family flicks every Sunday before the 9 pm movie. The family flicks include RV on 8 June, Firewall on 15 June, Look Who’s Talking Too on 22 June and Analyze This on 29 June.

HBO will air four action adventure thrillers every Thursday at 9 pm. Snakes on a Plane will air on 5 June followed by The Perfect Storm on 12 June, Poseidon on 19 June and The Hunt for Red October on 26 June.

The magic continues as HBO showcases a galaxy of favorite Hollywood blockbusters only on HBO Friday Blockbusters at 9:00 p.m. The line up begins with the musical animation Happy Feet featuring the voices of Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman on 6 June followed by the action adventure thriller Mission Impossible III starring Tom Cruise and Philip Seymour Hoffman on 13 June and Ghost Rider starring Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes on 20 June.
