HBO stars beaming in Mumbai again

MUMBAI: Mumbaikars will soon be able to enjoy HBO as the Mumbai High Court accepted the undertaking given by the channel to air only U and U/A rated movies.

In an official release, HBO India country manager Shruti Bajpai said, “HBO is the first premier English movie channel to screen movies as per the recent High Court order. We respect the sensitivities and the laws of countries where we operate in. The people of Mumbai and rest of Maharashtra will now be able to enjoy top Hollywood entertainment featured on HBO.”

HBO is working closely with the Censor Board for certification of Hollywood films featured on the channel.

This November HBO will be airing some of the most celebrated movies and Original Series. Some of the films that are lined up are Man of the House and Ocean’s Twelve (18 November), The Longest Yard and The Rookie (25 November), It’s A Guy Thing (every Saturday at 2 pm).
