MUMBAI: Ravi Agarwal of Plus Entertainment Pvt Ltd and the producer of Deadline – Sirf 24 Ghante, has acquired the distribution rights of Percept’s Traffic Signal for C.I.
Agarwal says, “We at Plus Entertainment believe providing entertainment as a social responsibility. We believe in films, which relate with common person. It should also carry a message. We have acquired Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic Signal for C.I. (Central India circuit that comprises of Indore, Ujjain, Sehore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Dewas, Guna, etc.). We have earlier distributed Subhash Ghai’s 36 China Town. We have taken our own film Deadline – Sirf 24 Ghante for the same circuit from Percept.”
He further adds, “On the production front, we plan to make three films in two years. They are average budgeted ones and entertainers for the entire family. Earlier we had two Marathi films Akalpit and Salaam, which have received fabulous critical appreciation.”
Traffic Signal is scheduled for release on 19 January, 2007.
