Infomedia’s AV expo inaugurated in Chennai

MUMBAI: Audio and video exhibition – AV MAX Exp, the flagship event of Infomedia India Ltd, one of India’s leading exhibition and publishing major was inaugurated by music director Harris Jayaraj and Infomedia India Ltd., General Manager – Publishing, Krishna Tewari, at Chennai.


The exhibition will span over a period of three days, 8-10 December, 2007 and is expected to generate business revenue of over Rs 20 crores
The expo that will feature the world’s finest home-theatre, electronics and components and will host more than 50 international brands and over 15,000 business visitors from across the country. The event will be hosted at Raja Muthiah Hall, Egmore, Chennai and will be open to visitors from 10 am to 7 pm.


Jayaraj said, “AV Expo is a music lovers delight world over and Chennai is no different and I am sure this key event for the industry will bring together Audiophiles and enthusiasts to the same platform. There could not a better time for this expo to come to this city as the Chennai music festival is just around the corner. I will be glad if Infomedia brings AV Expo to Chennai every year giving us all a chance to view and choose the latest from the world of audio and video.”


It is the largest exhibition that offers an ideal platform to host dealer meets, seminars and new launches. The event will be a treat for audiophiles (Hi-Fi enthusiasts) to see the latest in plasma and LCD panels, projection systems, the best in cutting edge audio systems, multi-room systems and home automation systems.


It has designed special soundproof demo rooms, which will provide the buyers with right sonic environment for a complete AV experience. Companies will put up their demo rooms that will give a first hand experience to these music connoisseurs.
