MUMBAI: Filmmaker Deepa Mehta is planning to start her next film titled The Exclusion. According to industry sources, the film will star John Abraham, Amisha Patel and Seema Biswas.
The movie will be made in Hindi and English and will focus on a 1914 real life incident involving Indian men who were denied entry into
Biswas says, “I am doing the film although I haven’t signed any papers as yet. Deepa had called me and narrated my role. I play the character of a woman who galvanizes the tiny Indian community in
John and Amisha were unavailable for comments.
Meanwhile, Mehta’s Water starring John Abraham, Lisa Ray and Seema Biswas is slated for a release in India soon. The film will be released by Ravi Chopra.
