Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Phantom is garnering all the attention after the first official trailer of the film was released today on July 25, 2015. Directed by Kabir Khan the action-thriller trailer of the film is intense and quite realistic. After releasing Bajrangi Bhaijaan based on love and humanity, Kabir Khan has come up with another grim subject that is totally opposite to his last film.

The entire Phantom team including, actors Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, director Kabir Khan and producer Sajid Nadidwala were present at the trailer launch of the film. Dressed in a Prabal Gurung pantsuit from Summer Resort 2015 Collection, Katrina Kaif looked pretty while actor Saif Ali Khan was seen in his casual attire.

After the impressive trailer launch of the film, Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan attended media interaction with Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadidwala. Talking about the film, Katrina Kaif said, “The action is very different from Dhoom. Pulling the trigger on the big gun was fun!”

Also Kabir Khan spoke on the screenplay of the film has been written in co-ordination with author Hussain Zaidi, and is an adaptation of his book ‘Mumbai Avengers’. The director said, “We’ve changed the screenplay a bit. It was preferable that they didn’t read the book”

With the film based on 26/11 attacks, Kabir Khan said, “none of us like films that is bashing Pakistan. We are against extremist ideology:

Talking about the rumours on her secret engagement with beau Ranbir Kapoor. The actress denied all the rumours saying, “I am not engaged to Ranbir Kapoor”.

She also spoke about her bonding with Ranbir’s sister Kareena Kapoor Khan. Katrina who looked pretty in purple pantsuit said, “Kareena is a wonderful person. I share a special connection with her”

It seems Katrina Kaif who was on holiday at Prague with beau Ranbir Kapoor couldn’t watch Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Today during the trailer launch Kabir Khan’s Phantom, Katrina Kaif was asked about her view on Bajrangi Bhaijaan. To which the actress replied saying, “I haven’t seen Bajrangi Bhaijaan yet. I’ll watch it in a day or two.”

The actress also spoke about Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s little girl Harshaali Malhotra who steals the whole thunder of the film. The actress said that director Kabir Khan often say her that Harshaali looks liker her.

Talking about Phantom, the film is based on the series of 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks in Mumbai which took place on 26/11 which continued for the next four days and was led by Ten members of the Lashkar-e-Taiba. Ajmal Kasab one of the 10 terrorists captured alive was hanged on November 21, 2012. But many of the masterminds got away. The film is all set release on August 28,2015.
