MUMBAI: Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish, aired on Star Gold recently, attracted a total viewing ratio (TVR) of 3.37, topping the list of most viewed Hindi films on television for the week ended 16 June 2007.
Following Krrish is Priyadarshan’s Phir Hera Pheri which was screened on Zee Cinema and commanded a TVR of 1.91.
Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, which was aired on Set Max, gained a total TVR of 1.33, which is lower than Aparichit- The Stranger, that was aired on Zee Cinema and gained an audience ratio of 1.73. Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, which was also featured on Zee Cinema, bagged the fifth position with an audience share of 1.32.
Among the English movie channels, Star Movies led the pack with Fanatstic Four, which managed a total TVR of 0.27. Treading close was HBO with its adventure film King Kong that managed to garner a TVR of 0.25.
Live And Let Live (Star Movies, TVR 0.23), A View To a Kill (Star Movies, TVR 0.18) and Batman Begins (HBO, TVR, 0.18), were the other films in the top five English category.
