MUMBAI: Actress Manisha Koirala has finally got hitched! Her wedding, starting today, 18 June, is a four-day long affair, for which a few of her close friends from the film industry have flown to Kathmandu.
A source tells Businessofcinema.com that the wedding ceremony started with the Swayamvar that took place at 2 pm, at the Le Meridian Gokarna Resort about eight kilometers from Kathmandu. This will be followed by the main wedding on 19 June again at the same hotel. The groom Samrat Dahal will be accompanied by around 250 baaratis.
On Sunday, 20 June, a reception party will be hosted by the Koirala family at Soaltee Crowne Plaza followed by another reception party hosted by the groom’s side on Monday, 21 June at the Everest Hotel.
Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Deepti Naval, Vivek Mushran, Shaahid Amir, Anna Singh and photographer Amit Ashar are some of the people from the film industry, who will be attending the wedding.
