MUMBAI: Producer Salim has re-titled his Mimoh Chakraborty (Mithun Chakraborty’s son) starrer The Murderr as Hamilton Palace.
Raj N C Sippy, the film’s director, confirms the development, saying, “We decided to rename the film as Hamilton Palace. The Murderr is very prim and removes the thrill element from the film. Mimoh plays a rock star in the film.”
Hamilton Palace is being planned for a May or June 2007 release. It is expected to release after Jimmy, which too has Mimoh in the lead. Hamilton Palace introduces Madhu in the female lead with Monalista, Simran, Raza Murad, Shanti Priya, Milind Gunaji, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Shakti Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana and others. Ishaq – Masuda will present the film, which is produced under the banner of Aftab Pictures. Aftab Pictures’ last release was Sun Zarra in 2006.
