Delhi-6 stars Abhishek Bachchan, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni and Divya Dutta. According to industry sources, while there were many names in the reckoning for the female lead, the director has finally zeroed down on Aishwarya Rai to be cast opposite the Bachchan junior.
However UTV senior vice president marketing and communications Siddharth Roy Kapur said that nothing was finalised as yet. “Talks are on right now and it is too early to talk about it. Things should be clearer in another 10 days or so.”
On the other hand, Rai’s business manager Hari Singh says,
If all goes well, this will be Abhishek and Aishwarya’s yet another film together after Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Kuch Naa Kaho. What’s more, Rai also had a guest appearance in Bunty Aur Babli.
