MUMBAI: Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will most likely be coming to Mumbai to make a cameo appearance for a promotional music video of producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s upcoming film Fool-n-Final, a comedy centered on a bunch of criminals Sunny Deol, Shahid Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Suniel Shetty.
According to www.Hollywood.tv founder Sheeraz Hasan, Tyson was chosen to appear in the film because one of the actors plays a boxer and Nadiadwala “thought it would be a good idea to have Mike Tyson in the promotional video,” Ms Chothani, speaking on behalf of Nadiadwala, said.
Nadiadwala, who last year produced Phir Hera Pheri, expects that Tyson should be arriving any time soon in India.
“We are negotiating, finalizing details such as contracts and other things and everything should be decided upon in the next few days,” Chothani said.
Tyson was only 20 years old when he won his title in 1986, making him the youngest champion in heavyweight history. Six years later, however, he was convicted of rape and served three years of his six-year prison sentence before he was paroled. His notorious temper in the ring earned him a $3 million fine when he bit a chunk out of Evander Holyfield’s ear during a fight.
