Moser Baer acquires Time & Gold titles

MUMBAI: Moser Baer has acquired home video label Time Video, Gold Video on an outright basis to exclusively market their Hindi, Gujarathi and Marathi in India for four years from July 2007.



Moser Baer will be releasing Time and Gold Video titles in the home video market for Rs 28 for VCDs and Rs 34 for DVDs. The company has earlier launched titles in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Hindi.



The company has already lined up over 450 distributors across the country and stocks shall be soon available in around 100,000 outlets, including Kirana stores, stationery shops, telecom shops and regular audio and video outlets.



The two labels own several popular titles in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati films and have a library of over 525 titles. The titles include popular Hindi hit titles like Ajnabee, Damini, Ishq, Deewana, Dilwale, Mother India, Jeet, Judwaa, Baadshah, Border, Company, Dhadkan, Diljale, Josh, Kachche Dhaage, Karan Arjun, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Raaz, Sarfarosh, Satya, Soldier and Yes Boss.



Gold Video also owns several hit titles in Marathi and Gujarati like Albelee Naar, Ashadhi Bij, Gamtane Gajwamnaa Nakhmaa, Gujrat No Lal, Jeevi Rabaran, Pati Parmeshwar, Eka Peksha Ek, Gammat Jammat and Navri Mile Navralya.
