MUMBAI: Mukta Arts’ film institute Whistling Woods International is gearing up for the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF). The academy has set up an award ceremony for the festival, which will be judged by a jury organized by the PIFF team.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Mukta Arts CEO Ravi Gupta says, “Currently we have short listed around 15 films from over 100 entries. All the awards for the various films are being organized by us; it may be a diploma or an individual award. The idea is to have our brand’s association with the event as well.”
Talking about Mukta’s chairperson Subhash Ghai being involved in this event, he adds, “Mr. Ghai will be present at the press conference in Pune. However, the details are still to be worked upon.”
