It is in line with some of the largest international music festivals and we are delighted to be partnering with Smirnoff and Nikhil Chinappa to bring a smashing international experience for the Indian audiences. This genre of music (electronic) is catching on in India and Sunburn will provide a grand platform for the DJs in India and across the world to showcase their talent over a period of two days that promises to be truly electrifying.”

Adil added, “Smirnoff, the world’s most loved vodka, has always been a trendsetter and believes in creating some of the most enriching life experiences for its consumers. In fact, it has always provided world-class clubbing experiences in every continent – from Australasia to America – while making the most of local talent alongside big name DJs and live performers. Smirnoff works hard to create credible parties that have become loved by clubbers all over the world and I am sure Sunburn will be no different.”

Chinappa said, “We are trying to create the Global-Indian experience using top of the line audio (music) and visuals (projectors with graphics and imaging) at par with established International Music Festivals. The environment being uniquely GOA (the beach)… Sunburn Goa 2007 is a festival initiated in India for the Indians; wherein Indian and international musicians of the same genre of music will congregate global sounds to our shores. The end objective being creating a festival which we can call our own.”

‘Sunburn Festival, Goa 2007’ will annually consolidate the best global talent (from India, Holland, Ibiza, UK, Austria, France, Finland, Australia, Sweden and Singapore) in India to celebrate music and foster a sense of community and harmony.
