MUMBAI: Actor and director Kabir Sadanand is all geared to release his love story on the 29 January. The film titled, Tum Milo Toh Sahi has the lead pair of Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia and Sadanand assures us, this is no story of the Beauty and the Beast.
“The film”, Sadanand discloses, “is a love story and the interpretation of love across various ages. To a 12 or 13 year old it is all about sharing comics with the one you love, but for an 8 year old, it is infatuation leading to lead. For the more mature ones, perhaps around 35, it is about discovering love and for the 60 odd years, it is about redefining love. Tum Milo Toh Sahi is a love story and what it means to different people at different stages of their lives.”
The film has been invited by various festivals. Speaking on it, Sadanand said, “As the topic is love, it is a universal topic and festivals hosted in South Africa and Muscat were keen to feature our film. Even the Berlin Film Festival has shown an interest. “
The film, produced by Nikhil Panchamiya, will release on 29 January. Sadanand said, “We finished shooting for the film a couple of months back but wanted to release it at the start of the new year.”
