MUMBAI: World cinema channel NDTV Lumiere will now be available on DTH service provider Tata Sky as part of the Cosmo Pack.
NDTV Lumiere business head Dhruvank Vaidya said, "We are extremely pleased with the response which we have got for the channel so far. Since our launch, we have steadily grown viewership and managed to build a dedicated and loyal viewer base for the channel. NDTV Lumiere’s presence on Tata Sky will further expand this base. The programming highlight this month is our event called ‘The View From Venice’, which will showcase the finest films that have been felicitated at the Venice International Film Festival."
The View from Venice will be aired every Wednesday at 10 pm. It begins with Andrei Zvyagintsev’s The Return, which is the winner of the Golden Lion at the 2003 Venice International Film Festival. The Magdalene Sisters will be aired on 9 September.
The expedition continues with Oasis on 16 September, a story about a feckless ex-con, and a cerebral palsy-afflicted young woman who are highly misunderstood by the society followed by Chaos on 23 September and Zeina on 30 September.
