MUMBAI: After the an interim injunction sent by Sippy Films Pvt Ltd from Delhi High Court to Ram Gopal Verma against the use of the names Sholay, Gabbar and Gabbar Singh in his movie, it is likely that Ram Gopal Varma will submit the script of his movie — Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay — to the court.
According to industry sources, Varma claims that his script is totally different from the original Sholay. What’s more, before submitting his script to the court, Varma is likely to take it in writing from the court that the story will not be leaked.
While repeated attempts to contact Varma proved futile, his publicity head Ravi Prakash refused to comment.
