MUMBAI: INX Media’s founder and CEO Indrani Mukerjea and executive chairman Peter Mukerjea, have stepped down from their current management positions. An official statement said that the two will continue to be shareholders of the company.
The INX Media board has also brought in former Zee Entertainment CEO Pradeep Guha as a consultant, who will be instrumental in carrying out a due diligence on the way forward for the company.
While Indrani will step down from her position by end of April, Peter will be stepping down by end March.
It may be recalled that in January this year, the company sold its news channel, NewsX to Indi Media, promoted by Vinay Chhajlani.
Investors of INX Media include Temasek Holdings Pte, New Silk Route Advisors and New Vernon Private Equity.
