Mumbai: PVR has acquired the India theatrical rights of Shemaroo Entertainment’s Mere Baap Pehle Aap. The film stars Akshaye Khanna and Genelia D’souza. It is directed by Priyadarshan.

 

Shemaroo Entertainment director Hiren Gada says, "The post production of the film is on in full swing now. We are tentatively planning to release Mere Baap Pehle Aap on 6 June. Depending on the IPL cricket match, the release of other films may be rescheduled; therefore we will finalize the exact date in a few days."    

 

The other cast includes Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Shobhna, Archana Puran Singh and Rajpal Yadav. The film has been shot in Goa, Kerala, and Chennai.

 

Mere Baap Pehle Aap is a comedy. It is Akshaye Khanna and Priyadarshan’s third film together, the other two being Hungama and Hulchul.
