Pyramid Saimira sponsors FFI’s 50th year

MUMBAI: The Film Federation of India (FFI) celebrated its golden jubilee on 19 January in Mumbai at Rang Sharda Auditorium. The event was sponsored by film distribution and exhibition firm Pyramid Saimira Group of Companies with Minister of I&B Govt. of India Priya Ranjandas Munshi presiding over the show.
 
Speaking on Pyramid Saimira’s partnership with Film Federation of India, Pyramid Saimira Group Managing Director P Saminathan said, “As the world’s fastest growing entertainment company, it is a matter of great prestige and honor for us to be associated with the Film Federation, the country’s foremost body working for the cause of entertainment. The industry is in the process of a paradigm shift from non transparency to complete accountability from black/non formal financing to institutional financing, from restrictive mind set to global ambitions.”
 
He added, “We, at Pyramid Saimira, chose this platform to salute all the endeavors of FFI that have played a pivotal role in the sustenance, growth and development of the Indian film industry.”
 
Recognized artists like Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Raj Babber, Johnny Lever, Asha Parekh and other graced the cultural function organized by the FII.
