MUMBAI: South actor Rambha has signed six Bhojpuri films.
Rambha, who was shooting in Mumbai for a Bhojpuri film Banke Bihari M.L.A., says, “I was not keen on doing Bhojpuri films in the beginning. Producer Ramesh Rao has been chasing me since long for his film Banke Bihari M.L.A. to play the female lead opposite Ravi Kissen. He even came to my sets in Hyderabad where I was shooting a Kannada film opposite Shivaji. I found the script interesting and signed it. After signing it, many other offers followed. However, I have hand picked five other Bhojpuri films. I have Rasik Balma and Mohanji Prasad’s Ram Balram apart from two other movies..”
Rambha was last seen in Balaji’s Hindi film Kyunki Main Jhooth Nahin Bolta with Govinda. Earlier she featured in films like Bandhan, Beti No.1, Judwa amongst others.
