MUMBAI: Taking time out from shooting for his two under production movies Rockstar and Barfee, Ranbir Kapoor is doing his first ever promotional video for Vikas Bahl’s Chillar Party.
This is for the first time ever, there is going to be an item song or promotional video for a kids flick. Chillar Party’s music has been composed by Amit Trivedi and this particular song is a mix of street instruments, local voices and dialect. The song has been choreographed by Bosco Ceasar.
"Ranbir saw the film and loved it. That’s when we requested him if he would do an item song for the kids and he loved the idea, and readily agreed," said director Bahl.
Ranbir plays himself in the video in a tapori style which is inspired by one of the characters in the film.
