MUMBAI: Reliance Infocomm marketing head Kaushik Roy has ventured into film direction with Mera Aasman.
The film, shooting for which is already completed, is slated for a July 2007 release.
Says Roy, “Mera Aasman is centered on autistic (neuro-development disability) children. Depending upon the response to this film, I will take up filmmaking seriously.”
The film’s music, scored by Leslie Lewis, will be released in June. The film’s cast comprises Anupam Kher, Irrfan Khan, Shobhana and Rajat Kapoor.
