MUMBAI: Actor Salman Khan who stars in the forthcoming film Veer, is on a worldwide search for real life Veers.The hunt for Veer was launched on Khan’s birthday on 27 December, 2009.
Reveals an inside source, “Salman bhai is constantly in touch with his fans on his blog. He launched the blog on his father Salim’s birthday and now he has launched a Hunt for Veer on his own birthday”.
Salman says,“You have often heard my stories now I want to know yours. There is a Veer in each one of us. I will personally pick up the stories that I like and I’m waiting to meet these real life Veers”.
The source adds, “People simply have to go to Salman’s blog and write down their real life bravery stories. Salman bhai himself will read through these stories and select 5 Veers. All of whom he will then meet personally”.
Khan will be seen playing a warrior in Veer which is a period film. It’s about the bravery of a Pindari soldier.
Produced by Eros International and Vijay Galani and directed by Anil Sharma, Veer is slated to release on 22 January, 2010.
