MUMBAI: My Name is Khan stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will be the first Indian stars to sound the opening bell of NASDAQ on Monday, 1 February, 2010.
Khan and Kajol have been invited to promote their upcoming film My Name Is Khan and they will be ringing the bell on behalf of Fox Searchlight Pictures which is distributing the film in the US.
My Name is Khan is directed by Karan Johar. The film has been written by Shibani Bhatija and is about a man named Rizwan Khan who suffers from Asperger syndrome.
The film is slated to release on 12 February, 2010.
