MUMBAI: After a 10 year hiatus, producer Tutu Sharma is back to producing films. The film will star Tusshar Kapoor and Boman Irani and be directed by Marathi director Mahesh Kothare.
Kothare says, “We are doing a film based on my own Marathi hit Khabardar, which was made on a budget of Rs 7.5 million (Rs 75 lakhs) and ended up collecting Rs 10 million (Rs 1 crore). For the Hindi version, we are changing the script a bit. The Marathi film had two heroes, Bharat Jadhav and Sanjay Narvekar. However, the Hindi version will have three heroes. We have signed Tusshar Kapoor to play one of the leads. Boman Irani has also been confirmed. We will be signing two more heroes soon. The film is budgeted around Rs 30 million (Rs 3 crore) and will roll in March next year.â€ÂÂ
This is not Kothare’s first Hindi film. He had earlier directed Masoom and Lo Main Aa Gaya. Tutu Sharma was not available for comment.
