MUMBAI: Star Plus will air Prakash Jha’s film Apaharan, starring Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu in its weekend slot.
The film will be telecast on 1 July 2007 at 12:30 pm on Star Plus.
The film revolves around Ajay Shastri (Ajay Devgan) who dreams of becoming a police officer and making his father proud. He works hard to fulfil his dream and when his passport to status, respectability and love seem within reach, he gets a setback which turns his life upside down, He finds himself pushed into a world where there is no hope for anything except destruction.
The film also has Nana Patekar in the role of Tabrez, a politician involved in kidnapping and murder. Nana Patekar won a Filmfare award for his act in the film.
