MUMBAI: While most actresses prefer to be slotted, Tanushree Dutta prefers to do the freewheeling act. The actress who has done a bit of comedy, a bit of action and a bit of suspense films, is happy to do whatever comes her way, as long as there is scope for growth.
After doing films like Chocolate and Rama – the Saviour, Tanushree said, “You cannot call me an item queen nor can you say that I am a comic actress. Frankly speaking, I prefer it that way so that I can test my acting capabilities. I do not know what my forte is or what kind of films bring out the best of my acting skills. And as long as I am finding myself, I will do what I believe is a good script.”
Currently the actress is busy with the final touches of Rama – The Saviour, which will feature her with the Indian wrestler Khalli, who is an international face in the wrestling world. The film required Dutta to do stunts a la Lara Croft and she learnt the basics of Taekwondo for that film. So, with her options open, Dutta is all set to make her name in Bollywood.
