Mumbai: Tata Sky has reduced its monthly subscription prices. In addition, the company has launched new add-on packages to increase choice for their subscribers.
The Family Pack is now available at Rs 200 per month instead of Rs 250. This pack offers around 90 leading Hindi, regional, kids, infotainment and news channels. Similarly, the prices of all other base packages including the annual packs have also been reduced.
The top-end Super Saver pack offering over 110 channels including English channels is now available for only Rs 260 per month. The annual pack for the same is available for Rs 2600 (effective monthly price is Rs 217).
In addition, Tata Sky has launched another promotion wherein all existing and new Tata Sky subscribers will get 60 pay per view movies of worth Rs 4,500 free.
Tata Sky managing director & CEO Vikram Kaushik said, "In a period of 20 months, we have crossed the two million connection mark making Tata Sky the fastest growing DTH platform across the globe. To ensure that every TV household in the country has access to digital quality entertainment at an affordable price, we have reduced the price of our current subscription packages."
He added, "Further, we have introduced new monthly packages to provide our subscribers with the flexibility of subscribing to select premium channels, only when it is relevant to them, rather than paying for them through the year."
