MUMBAI: With constant comparisons between Amitabh Bachchan’s role in "Department" and "Sarkar", film-maker Ram Gopal Varma decides to put all speculations to an end. Varma tweeted: "Except For the hair similarity of Amitji in ‘Department’ and ‘Sarkar’, of course there’s absolutely no similarity between the two characters."

The look seen in the posters does remind one of Sr. Bachchan’s look in ‘Sarkar’. "For want of a better word, I think Amitji is playing a nasty sarkar in `Department’," he further clarified.
