MUMBAI: As a step towards curbing the piracy menace, music and home video company T-Series has launched a 9-in-1 DVD pack titled Movie Carnival, which is priced economically at Rs 275.
The DVD packs will have movies from various genres like romance, comedy and thrillers. Additionally, each pack will also contain five complimentary audio CDs.
T-Series plans to release at least 100 titles through various editions of Movie Carnival.
Some of the movies that are being sold as a part of the pack are Salaam-E-Ishq, Don, Jaan-E-Mann, Shootout At Lokhandwala, Bhagam Bhag, Sarkar, Chalte Chalte, Zinda, Baabul, Tere Naam, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, The Train, Nehle Pe Dehla, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Kati Patang and Deewar amongst others.
T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar said, "At T-Series we believe in providing the best of entertainment through ethical means. Movie Carnival is a complete family pack as there is something for everyone in it. Also, the nominal price of the sets will be a step further in our efforts to curb piracy."
